How to Build Habits That Actually Stick

Big changes don’t come from doing everything at once. They come from starting small and staying consistent with things that feel realistic and doable.
Want to move your body more?
You don’t need a gym membership or a 6 a.m. routine. Start by working movement into things you’re already doing.

That’s where habit stacking comes in.
Pair a new habit with something you already do every day:
Stretch while the coffee brews
Take a few deep breaths before checking your phone
Do a short walk right after work
Turn on music while making dinner and add some movement to your evening
It doesn’t have to be perfect or impressive. It just has to feel like something you can keep showing up for.
The more your habits fit into your real life, the more they’ll
actually stick.
